In an interview with Loudwire, former Guns N’ Roses manager Vicky Hamilton disclosed that a TV series is in the works about the 1980s Sunset Strip music scene in Los Angeles. Hamilton managed a pre-Appetite For Destruction GnR, and also worked with Motley Crue, Poison, and Faster Pussycat. Hamilton’s 2016 autobiography, Appetite for Dysfunction: A Cautionary Tale, revealed the highs and lows of her career in the music industry.
“I was trying to figure out what had actually happened and why it went down like that,” Hamilton shared about the end of her time with GnR. “I think once I started writing the book, I kind of got a sense of why that happened, so that I would write this book. And this is the first time I’m really saying this out loud — I’ve done a deal with a production company, and it’s going to get made into a TV series.” The show is still in its early stages of development, but Hamilton shared that “an insanely creative writer that has written many hit TV shows” will be working on the series.
