An exhibition featuring Christine McVie’s music instruments, memorabilia, and personal items from throughout the Fleetwood Mac star’s legendary career will be on display at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville. The exhibit of McVie’s artifacts opens on Friday, August 30, and runs through Tuesday, October 15. The day after the exhibition finishes up, a two-day auction entitled Property From the Life and Career of Christine McVie will take place at the museum – and online via Julien’s Auctions – marking the first time these special items will be offered to the public. The proceeds of the auction will benefit MusiCares along with other U.K. charities.
“Christine McVie was a legendary artist and a beloved member of the MusiCares family, always showing deep compassion for those in the music community,” said MusiCares executive director, Laura Segura. “The proceeds from this auction will continue her legacy of giving back, ensuring that musicians receive the support they need. Her love for music and for those who create it will continue to inspire us all.” McVie died from a stroke on November 30, 2022 at the age of 79. (Billboard)
