4:30PM   Brittney Cade Dirnt has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The wife of Green Day‘s Mike Dirnt is undergoing treatment for the disease, which was announced by the bassist on Green Day’s Facebook page…

Dirnt signed the note “With rage and love,” and has posted several pictures since with the inscription, “F*** cancer.” Most recently Dirnt linked to his Instagram page and a closeup photo of Brittney with a nosebleed and the caption, “Daily nose bleeds! Hmmm that’s new!”

Mike and Brittney have two children, ages 3 and 5, as well as Mike Dirnt’s 17-year-old daughter Estelle from a previous marriage.
