SHOWBIZ NEWS:
AMANDA BYNES TO REMAIN IN HOSPITAL
Doctors in California were successful in getting a judge to extend Amanda Bynes’ psychiatric hold. The 27-year-old was supposed to go to court Friday for a hearing regarding her parents’ request for a conservatorship, but her doctors determined she wasn’t well enough to leave. They then went to a judge and had him come to the hospital for an emergency hearing, in which the judge granted the doctors’ request to extend her psych hold for 30 days. The law states that doctors can request the extension if a patient is “gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder.” The judge later granted Amanda’s mother, Lynne, temporary legal control over her daughter’s well-being and finances. The actress’ court-appointed attorney told the judge Amanda objected to the conservatorship because, “She doesn't feel there's a need."
MODEL FILES PATERNITY SUIT AGAINST KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN

"This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney Kardashian and her son, Mason. Scott Disick is Mason’s father,” said lawyer Todd Wilson. "We have not seen the reported court filing, but we are informed that this individual has been seeking to get paid to publish his ridiculous pleading. His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client."
