No, your eyes were not deceiving you last night, that was arch enemies David Letterman and Jay Leno sitting on a couch with Oprah Winfrey during a Super Bowl commercial. The ad featured a cranky Letterman complaining, "This is the worst Super Bowl Party ever," with Oprah telling him, "now Dave be nice." Leno then chimed in that Dave was only complaining "because I'm here." According to Late Show producer Rob Burnett, the 15 second spot was Dave's idea, and was shot in complete secrecy Tuesday at his studio in New York. Leno actually arrived at the Ed Sullivan theater in disguise, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mustache. "It was quick, it was easy," said Burnett. "The attitude was professional and cordial. Dave and Jay were fine with each other." Why exactly Jay thought it would be a good idea to do a commercial for a competing show is still a big question.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tiger Woods is on the loose again. Radaronline reports that the golf great was released from sex rehab last week, with his wife Elin picking him up in Mississippi. The couple allegedly flew out on Friday, and was planning to spend some time alone together in an attempt to save their marriage. According to Radar, over the weekend Tiger was reunited with his two kids, Sam and Charlie, who he hasn't seen in approximately six weeks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Charlie Sheen's SUV was stolen on Friday, and later discovered at the bottom of a cliff.   Charlie said he was woken up at 4 am by an operator from OnStar, telling him that his car had been involved in a wreck and the airbags deployed. The call prompted Charlie to summon his security team who confirmed that the car had been stolen. Turns out, it wasn't too tough for the thief to get the car. Cops say that not only did Charlie leave his keys in the automobile, he also left his garage door open. The wrecked vehicle was found 110 feet down Mulholland Drive, and an infrared scan by the L.A. Fire Department revealed that there were no victims in the car. Police are searching for a suspect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dancing with the Stars runner up Warren Sapp was arrested in Miami Saturday and charged with misdemeanor battery. The incident between Sapp and his girlfriend of two years occured at the Shore Club at 5 am. According to the police report, the victim had "a swollen right knee and bruises on the back of her neck." The unidentified girlfriend claims she was sleeping in Sapp's bed when he came into the room and pulled her out and began arguing with her about the guys she had been hanging out with that evening. During the argument, Sapp, "grabbed her and began to choke her" and then eventually threw her out of the room. Sapp told the cops that he had allowed the woman to stay in his room, but then changed his mind and wanted her to leave because "he was expecting company." The former NFL great was in Miami to cover the Super Bowl for the NFL Network. He was released on $1,500 bail and ordered to stay away from the victim.
